Valentine's Day is now only days away so this weeks pendant features Kunzite. Kunzite is the crystal of divine love, encompassing a love for all that is; Plant's, animals, minerals
Kunzite is a gentle energy that opens your heart and mind to an all encompassing love, it helps you clear and release any energy blocks that maybe holding you back from experiencing your full potential. This gentle love brings a feeling of gratitude and joy for the small things in life.

This crystal has a very pale pink hue and a watery surface texture that calls out to be surrounded by broom cast silver. The blend of similar textures creates a harmonious design that brings together the elements of water and air.

Today's crystal pendent features a beautiful yet powerful piece of Moldavite.
Moldavite is a fundamental storm element bringing huge transformation, clearing and change on spiritual, mental, emotional and physical levels. Moldavite carries a frequency that is easily felt, this frequency activates the entire chakra system on a deeply healing level. Blue Pietersite for me would have to be one of the most magical crystal found thus far, it's like a painting within a crystal. I find when starting into the depths of Pietersite it is easy to fall into a deep meditative state. The blue Pietersite reminds me of the ocean; the patterning, the colours and flashes. In fact within the particular piece I see a blue stream that leads to a magnificant white Quartz waterfall.

Pietersite is part of the Quartz family and is often found with clear quartz incisions. Peitersite comes in shades of gold, brown, grey, blue and black. Pietersite is also known as the 'tempest stone' its energy can feel like a highly charged thunderstorm. This thunderstorm moves through every corner of your energy field & aura to remove stagnant energy, bad habits and learned patterns; removing anything that does not serve. This process clears your aura and encourages you to take action to follow your dreams.

Pietersite is a great crystal to turn to when you need to make deep dramatic change when feeling stuck. It not only clears you energy but also allows you to find that new direction that you seek. It removes unnecessary blockages while staying grounded in the moment.

Each week I will create & post a new pendant during the challenge each pendant posted will include a different crystal or mineral. To kick start the challenge today's pendant includes a stunning freeform Hartz Range (NT, Australia) Garnet, this pendant is extra special as I have not only set this stunning Garnet but also cut & polished it as well. I find cutting & polishing the crystal that is included within my jewellery allows me to set the intention of the piece from the start thus embedding the intention into the crystal for it's forever wearer.

The six types of Garnets are Rhodolite, Almandine, Spessartine, Grossular, Andradite & Uvarovite, each with different colours & chemical formulas and spiritual properties. Most Garnets are aluminium silicates with a hardness of 6.5 to 7.5 on the Moh's scale.

I believe the garnet found within this pendant is a Almandine Garnet, it's element is earth and it has a strong connection to the Root Chakra. The keywords for Almandine Garnet is strength & security.

Th Almandine Garment activates and strengthens the base chakra and relationship to Mother Earth, thus making this an ideal stone to help keep you grounded. This crystal gives the wearer a sense of physical security allowing the mind to be free to manifest the heart's desires.
