Garnet - Pendant 1 of 52

Welcome to the first of 52 blog post in the 2019 Pendant Challenge.
Each week I will create & post a new pendant during the challenge each pendant posted will include a different crystal or mineral. To kick start the challenge today's pendant includes a stunning freeform Hartz Range (NT, Australia) Garnet, this pendant is extra special as I have not only set this stunning Garnet but also cut & polished it as well. I find cutting & polishing the crystal that is included within my jewellery allows me to set the intention of the piece from the start thus embedding the intention into the crystal for it's forever wearer.

The six types of Garnets are Rhodolite, Almandine, Spessartine, Grossular, Andradite & Uvarovite, each with different colours & chemical formulas and spiritual properties. Most Garnets are aluminium silicates with a hardness of 6.5 to 7.5 on the Moh's scale.

I believe the garnet found within this pendant is a Almandine Garnet, it's element is earth and it has a strong connection to the Root Chakra. The keywords for Almandine Garnet is strength & security.

Th Almandine Garment activates and strengthens the base chakra and relationship to Mother Earth, thus making this an ideal stone to help keep you grounded. This crystal gives the wearer a sense of physical security allowing the mind to be free to manifest the heart's desires. 

The pendant has been designed with Garnet surrounded by a sterling silver circle (representing the circle of life), protecting the garnet is a broom cast sterling silver. Thus reminding us that protection and guidance is always near.
